Majoritet vill se amerikanskt stöd till Sydkorea

En majoritet av amerikaner anser att USA ska skydda Sydkorea vid en eventuellt attack från Nord, visar en ny undersökning av Gallup. 55% anser att USA ska stödja Sydkorea militärt, medan 35% motsätter sig detta. Frank Newport från Gallup säger:

“a majority of Americans, particularly those who are following the news of this situation on the Korean peninsula closely, say the U.S. should come to the aid of South Korea if that country is attacked by the North — just as the U.S. did in 1950.”
