Gingrich plockar ner anti-Romney-ad efter kritik från Marco Rubio

Newt Gingrich producerade häromdagen följande radio-anti-Romney ad på spanska - där ett pro-Castro-uttalande av Romney repeteras, för att sedan förklara hur Gingrich motsätter sig Castro.



Ad:en fick dock stark kritik av Floridas latinoamerikanske te-party-senator Marco Rubio (som även stöder Romney), som sa:

"This kind of language is more than just unfortunate. It's inaccurate, inflammatory, and doesn't belong in this campaign," Rubio told The Miami Herald.

"Both are pro-legal immigration and both have positive messages that play well in the Hispanic community,"

Detta fick Gingrich-kampanjen att avbryta sin attack-ad och släppa följande meddelande:

"We respect Senator Rubio tremendously and will remove the ad from the rotation,"
