Svensk Riksdagsman kräver sanningen om 9/11-attacken

Newsmill berättar i följande artikel att den svenska Riksdagsmannen Egon Frid (V) har gått med i ett internationellt upprop vid namn "Political Leaders for 9/11 Truth", som kräver en ny utredningskommission om attacken den 11 september 2001. De menar att alltför mycket pekar på att attacken var ett insiderjobb, och skriver i sin programförklaring att de begär att få veta:

"WHEREAS the Bush-Cheney administration’s public interpretation of the 9/11 attacks has had radical, largely negative, consequences for the United States of America and the world as a whole; and

WHEREAS the official investigations of these attacks that have been carried out thus far were led by individuals closely aligned with, or even employed by, the Bush-Cheney administration; and

WHEREAS the conclusions of these investigations differ radically from those that have been reached by independent researchers with various kinds of professional expertise; and

WHEREAS organizations of such researchers---including Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth, Firefighters for 9/11 Truth, Lawyers for 9/11 Truth, Pilots for 9/11 Truth, Religious Leaders for 9/11 Truth, Scholars for 9/11 Truth and Justice, and Veterans for 9/11 Truth---have called for a new, truly independent, investigation; and

WHEREAS we believe it is long past time for political leaders to heed these calls;

THEREFORE we, the undersigned members of Political Leaders for 9/11 Truth, ask President Barack Obama to authorize a new, truly independent, investigation to determine what happened on 9/11."

En av uppropets frontfigurer är den tyske socialdemokraten Andreas von Bülow, som skrivit boken "CIA och 11 september", utgiven på svenska av Alahambra Förlag, där han frågar sig om dåden inte inträffade misstänkt lägligt för regeringen Bush - och spekulerar i om CIA kan ha haft en roll med i det hela.

Egon Frid (född 1957) är den hittills enda svenska politikern att delta i uppropet - och skriver på sin hemsida:

"Mitt svar att veta sanningen blev ja och det står jag för. Detta svar ledde mig till att bli den förste svenske riksdagsledamoten och politikern som officiellt vill veta sanningen om 9/11."

Kring 2006, i samband med filmen "Loose Change", en mängd litteratur, och massa hype kring konspirationsfrågan - så hängde jag med i 9/11-konspirationsdebatten någorlunda. När debatten gick som hetast så hade South Park ett roligt avsnitt om konspirationsteorin där Eric var såld på teorin, men hans polare mer skeptiska. I en promenad i skolkorridoren gick konversationen som följande:

Kyle tittar på Eric som just dragit en parallell till 9/11: "Will you shut up about 9/11?"

Eric: "Kyle! Why are you so afraid of the truth?"

Kyle: "Because anybody who thinks 9/11 was a conspiracy is a retard."

Eric: "Oh really? Well did you know that over one fourth of the people in America think that 9/11 was a conspiracy? Are you saying that one fourth of americans are retards?"

Kyle: "Yes, I´m saying one fourth of americans are retards."

Stan: "Yeah, atleast one fourth..."

Kyle tittar på Eric: "Lets take a test sample. There is four of us - you´re a retard. That´s one fourth."

I Sverige är gissningsvis retard-statistiken inte lika hög. Även om 1 av 349 Riksdagsledamöter naturligtvis är en retard för mycket.
